Can't really compare the two cars because the mustang gt is only rwd, which hurts it in off the line performance when put up against an STI which is lighter AND has awd on top of it all. Mustangs just get more respect anyways, and aren't rolling pieces of plastic like some of these imports nowadays.

There have been cases of stock mustangs hitting 13.3. not very often though with DR's intake and tune they will hit 12's all day.

mustang gt.500 runs low 12,s for stock.. i think 12.2.. a viper srt-10 runs that stock. viper will beat it on top end to. the 08 viper 600hp. will beat a gt.500. so how bout gt 500 vs 08 viper :) lets see who wins.

sti for 2008 runs 13.3 stock. it will hit 0-60 in 4.8 and will do over 140mph.. thats very impressive for stock.. stock mustang gt only runs 13.7 13.8 with perfect driver lol. and hit o-60 in low 5 second range.
