That's just like a six stroke roll, and the second is a five stroke roll with no pause in between.

I'm practicing this now. I've got it down nicely, but havent gained his speed yet, more practice. Very cool roll.Initially, my hands kept wanting to fall back into a paradiddle. Mind over matter - took it real slow, then after an hour - it registered. I can incorporate it into some cool rolls, or just use it as a continuous snare roll w/ accents. THANKS! FYI- this roll isnt confined to traditional, I play match & can get great speed on this.He explains it very very well.
