I believe what happened in Chechnya was a stupid and a pointless war. But now it is in peace, fat and happy. And Russia takes care of our citizens in Chechnya also, although it will take us a long way to regain the forgiveness of this people.

Russia simply eliminated the military infrastructure of Georgia, which was a reasonable thing to do. We didn't drop a single bomb on Tbilisi, so keep your false allegations, imagination or whatever to yourself, as you have no proof, but guesses.

You seem not to know much about the conflict. But anyways for you to know, my friends were serving there and they were strictly prohibited from any respond to any provocation whatsoever. But when you are shot in the back it simply makes no sense any more to stop yourself.I am not sure if Netherlands' troops were dispatched to Iraq or Afghanistan. But if so, why wouldn't you mind your business?)

Previously I told what was primary for the Russian government. But if you ask whether Russia had valid reasons to strike back, so yes we did. Killing peace-keepers of a country makes the country legitimate to interfere. Once again, Russia is just awful at information wars, but it shouldn't disturb those who are able to see both sides of the coin. I just wonder do you realize that it was mr. Saakashvili who attacked SO republic?

Sorry, I do not believe people lying about genocide and etnic cleansing. It kinda makes me very distrustful and skeptic about their real motives (but, I must say, Russia DID make those pretty clear the minute they pushed through to Tblisi)It's my opinion, and I will not shut up about it. I do not live in Russia.It's fine by me you want to worship Putin, I, and many with me many, happen to consider him a very dangerous dicatator. Keep him within your borders and things wil be fine

This episode just shows once again that Russians (their government) can never be trusted"It's the big reason why they are so distrusted. If you invade a country under false pretense (yes, I'm ALSO talking about the US -Iraq invasion - I know this will come up LOL ) you should not be surprised world opinion turns against you.

well so what is, that people do not believe a word you say anymore. other than that it gives a rather clear picture on what Russia's true motives were, and that, pretty much, was what turned world opinion against them.It's not up to some guy in Mosow to decide who is president in another country, least of all of that person came to power through free and democratic elections.(can't judge about russian elections since observers are not allowed at those... )
