It is'nt nearly as versatile as ultramobiles, but it's much more portable & covers the basics. The N8x0 tablets do have some able but still limited office capabilities such as spreadsheet, word processing, & document/pdf viewer. Also, there's always Google Docs. There's also some sophisticated image & audio file management. However, besides video conferencing, the screen/keyboard, ssh, & USB host capabilities, pda phones r more versatile, compact, better priced, & more suited 4 average users.

Navigation isn't as smooth & fun, but websites are displayed better. At %100 zoom, font is legible w/o additional zooming & most pages don't require horizontal scrolling. Plus there's Flash support, so sites that use Flash will work though not always properly (like Myspacetv, Veoh, & Cnettv).

I was thinkin alot about getting a mylo 2 for a while or an ipod touch, but then i started putting this nokia n810 into the foray, and now this seems to be like a big competitor. more useful than the itouch, and slimmer than the mylo 2. but without the mylo 2 cam, or the smart touchpad of the itouch, but the nokia n810 has ALOT of room for improvement because of it's open source capability! I think i'm getting it |
