I think the 86/87 Afro Acid mix is far better. More restrained and of a higher caliber. This sounds like the music to a British Airways advert.

I prefer this version cause I'm always a sucker for 303s ;) That said, when you think that the afroacid mix was made in 1987, that one was WAY ahead of its time whereas this version is more or less in the norm of its time. In the end I guess it's all a matter of personal taste ;) |
