Actually his real name is Don Van Jones and he comes from Wales. He left Wales at the age of 25 to persue a career as a Kindergarten teacher in California , but unfortunatly his European superiority complex became malignant and he had to have surgery.

I don't understand this, its like reading poems while band plays something in the background. Then again, I don't really like jazz or poems, also, he looks bit like fred durst from side view. You may flame me now.

oh c'mon echocannonnumber, our european superiority complex? because we understand that the roots of all american music lie in europe, or africa? that's obvious, don't make me state the obvious, don't lower me to your level, if you adore django reinhardt or jacques brel, but you're not belgian, but american, well don't be ashamed, don't feel inferior, we don't feel superior. (even if we are, haha)

What's the weirdest the English gave music? Music-hall psychedelia like Pink Floyd and Sgt Peppers? Ouch...Beefheart may not be psychedelic but he was a trailblazer much like Coltrane and Dolphy. |
