Yes, there both one of the best, but there is so much more to name, what about eric clapton?hes a good guitarists. The only thing I hate about eric is that he copys parts of other songs from other artists, he doesnt come up with his own music. If he hears something he likes he copy's it.Jimi came up with everything, he never copied anything. except for all along the watch tower by bob dylan, which i thought was absolutely great in jimis version

Exactly. But what should be noted is that each one of them changed guitars' styles around the globe.

SRV and Jimi Hendrix are the best, hands down.

Once again.. there is no best or better.. each have their own style.... i don't mean blues.... but like different kind of playing style... They're both unique... and somebody said without jimi theres no stevie... but without bb king and the others.. theres no jimi... and the chain goes on forever... up to the first man who played guitar... LMAO

Totally true. Who gives a fuck about the debate and who is better? Fuck that. They both died very young, were awsome and mindblowing guitar players, very creative and raw. They bith had a rare talent and gift, and they are both the very best guitar players who ever lived, hands down.

people always debate..who was better ..Jimi or stevie ..Stevie always said theirs one Jimi Hendrix..Man, they are both great ..but without Jimi ...there is no Stevie ...Jimi was much more creative raw and wild but yes as a bluesman ..Stevie was untouchable...must remember Stevie lived 10 more years than Jimi....It really doesnt matter I love em both RIP JIMI AND STEVIE ..brothers in great guitar playing ...GOD BLESS
