He loves everyone, men, women, kids and other dogs and just wants to play and be petted.He was found as a stray and it is absolutely impossible for us to imagine why his previous owners allowed him to get away. When he was found he had cherry eyes, an inflammation of the tissue in the eye, but that has already been treated and he is feeling much better now!Emmitt will fit into just about any type of home. He is active and will require a family who has adequate time to exercise him either with playtime in a fenced yard or long walks. He is very much a cuddler and kisser with people and loves to play with other dogs.Emmitt has had some obedience training. He hiss sit on command with a little encouragement and we are working on his leash manners as well. He is very much a people pleaser and will greatly benefit from obedience training. Training classes with his new owner will help the bonding process as well. This sweet, smart boy has been through a lot and really needs a forever home that will give him the love and security he deserves.
