I think what you guys are forgetting is that these are for self defence purposes and not competition, so it gives at least a chance to the victim, obviously it wouldn't be as effective against trained martial artists but against a drunk or rapist it would improve chances.

When I perform rear naked choke, I always prepare to disengage this kind of throw by pressing my other free hand against the buttock. This will simply break the harmony of a throw.

best pressure point if the join in the muscle of the forarm (u can feel it in the formuscle near the elbow on thetop of the forarm) its nor that painful though and wont always break someone.fraid i dont no any others

Get your chin in the V on the elbow and bite, will create a gateway out, unless you get your eyes torn out :O

if a person who knows his groundwork does an RNC, chances are he'll pull you down to the ground and assume the classic RNC position... that might be a pickle to get out of.But this might work against your untrained mugger.

once again a real fighter, when having a full choke in place, whether or not shoulder thrown, will not release and likely break the neck of the thrower....any elbow pressure points you can show us?
