The songwriter sold HIS SONG (it was never the group Nephu song) to R. Kelly & Usher because this group wasn't gonna use it. It was good business 4 him 2 sell it 2 Kells & Ush 2 of musics greatest singers which means the song gets more popularity & makes more money 4 him. Had these guys brought it out it probably wouldn't have even charted at all. So 4 U 2 say that their version sounds better than Kells & Ush is just some ole cheering 4 the underdog BULLSHIT.
