Not all emotions make music beautiful. Mozart cared about the beauty of the music he made. Also, Mozart's work don't lack emotion ;they are just not as expressive as Beethoven's or Bach's works are.Mozart's works are expressive enough.

the best music ever written is 18th century german/austrian baroque/classical music

Yes, I can and do completely dismiss anything and everything ever written by Richard Wagner. Normally I seperate the art from the artist, but Wagner was such a notorious antisemite, that I simply will not allow his music in my home nor ever listen to his concerts

Can you truly dismiss "Die Walkure" and the Ring Cycle?

100% true!

Mozart IS the King of all music, with the possible exception of Bach. Mozart's music IS emotional, it is just that his intellect keeps his emotions from losing all control, as it did in later Romantic music. Bach was overly intellectual. Mozart is the perfect balance between intellect and emotion

you forgot the entire bach family! and Joseph Haydn, since Austria and Germany are basically synonymous. also do not forget the great german composer george telemann. i wish you had left richard wagner off the list, since he was a notorious antisemite deeply admired by adolf shitler

you sound so much like me, that i thought you were me! you said it like it needs to be said. mozart was indeed the voice of G-d, and his clarinet concerto (K. 622 which i know without even looking) is a wonderful example of this

i agree with those that say that mozarts music was the voice of god. a good example is the clarinet concerto |
