I could somewhat handle Wolf3D on the SNES, despite the ridiculous changes, but Doom on Super Nintendo? Most of the gaming experience is lost because of the poor graphics and lack of multiplayer (although I never got around playing the first Doom online).

You talking about the PC version!? This is the fucking SNES versions idiot!!
theblackbull55 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
how dare u talk like that! All of the FPS's out there, know that wolf and doom is the one of the first fps's made. Without them, therw wud be no counter strike etc. We all give respect to this. And i guess the others agree with me as often as they do.

how could wolf3d run on a snes without a sfx chip.snes doom misses everything wich makes the game so fun.why they dit,t use much memory space and a data compression chip to get more space to make those games more closer to the original.the largest snes cartride is 48 mb,it may expensive, but everything or nothing!!!
supersmith3000 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yup! Having giant mutant rats in this port is stupid. Why not the dogs. Man even in the SNES version Mortal Kombat, there's no blood!! But SNES doom has blood so what's the business with censorship in earlier SNES games!!? Man Nitensensorship sucks! :-(

Okay: the GIANT RATS sound like scooby-doo when...they....die.You know what? That's just beyond retarded.
syntax1981 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The snes port doesn't even have dogs, they are giant rats.
LessthanJake14 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
And the dogs sound like scooby-doo when they die.

snes wolfenstein sucks ass with a straw.New sounds, no swastikas, nazies talk in english, shit music and the list continues.Maybe the only good thing about it was that they used better graphics but that's all.

Well his Wolf 3D video was the NTSC version of the game. I think mine was the PAL version. No wonder why NTSC games run at 60hz while the PAL games run at 50hz so, PAL games run quite slower than the NTSC games. =P PS: It's the machine gun I'm talking about not all the weapons!! |
