One of my favourite memories is of a friend of mine who is a professional classical music conductor who one night whilst drunk just kept on mouthing and humming teen town over and over saying it was one of the greatest feats of instrument playing he had ever heard. Thats how good Jaco was; a fucking genius.

Where are they playing here? Because I remember seeing them around this time in NY. Then a Drummer friend who knew Jaoc said he was going to introduce me to him but then he got stabbed on 4th st. (by the basketball court, I think). I was in shock over it. Such a waste and who knows what he'd be into these days if he had lived.
