Oswald did not want to be a communist. He was a fanatical anti-communist and a disciple of Herbert Philbrick, who was THE ultimate anti-communist. Oswald patterned his entire life after Philbrick. They both lied to their families and friends in order to maintain a cover.

This is one of the central issues of the assassination, that Oswald was someone much more "interesting" than many people want to admit. He was involved in many unusual things with many unusual people. He had associates on the far right and on the far left. He was involved in military intelligence, and received such training in the USMC. He aided Cuban exiles while claiming to be a Marxist. He defected to the USSR... AND CAME BACK. A strange individual indeed.

Excellent video. I believe that Oswald was indeed a "Patsy", as he said. If he wasn't, why wouldn't he take prideful acknowledgement in the fact that he shot Kennedy (especially if he hated him so much)? Until we know the truth about what happened on that day, we won't be able to trust our government.

God Bless Lee Harvey Oswald! Innocent until proven guilty. He died (murdered) before he was tried. The Marines know they have one of the most clandestine intelligence operations going. Even the C.I.A. uses them. Besides the KGB replaced Oswald with an agent named Alex Hidell. The govt. fronted him the money. it was all part of their planto make it look like a lone nut commie killed the president. research it

If it's possible that Oswald conspired to become a self-appointed communist infiltrator, isn't it actually MORE possible that he simply was a communist who conspired to join the Marines, gain access to US security secrets before defecting with them?

Then you weren't there when U2 spy planes were flying from there, into the Soviet Union.Those operations and the parts of the base which supported the U2's were about as high security as anything got in the military. |
