I hate the whole Capton vs Hendrix descussion, they were friends, and played clubs with each other. they are (were) both fine guitarists. now will you PLEASE leave it at that!

im just refering to clapton's machine like precision. its a fact that clapton has never missed a note ever, not even when i was learning guitar in the early 60s. he doesn't touch hendrix when it comes to style and sound. i saw clapton in dublin last month, it was like listening to a robot, not a person.

i actually dont think hendrix was a very good technical player at all... technique is mostly concerning tone, and a lot of the time hendrix hit the wrong note, which isnt good technique.... hendrix just had a ridiculous playing style that no one could or can touch, which is why he is the best

Clapton more technical wha??? You gotta be kidding me. I'd like to so see Clapton play Machine gun and Hear my Train A-coming like Hendrix. Hendrix is way more technical then Clapton ever was...

hendrix is amazing, the feeling he puts into it. clapton may have more technical ability, but he isn't touching this
