When one of my fellow dive tourists in Gran Canaria decided to poke one of these in the mouth I moved well back, expecting the worst, and he was fortunate not to lose a finger (he was a Spanish tourist from the mainland).It's a shame this shark didn't bite the prat with the camera. I would have !

i own a dive center in Gran Canaria and have been diving with these fish almost every day for years and have only seen a reaction like this once, when the fish lift up the front half of thier body there not happy so leave them alone, the fish obviously feels threatened by the camera guy who reacts by pushing the camera further into his face, so the lesson is dont fear the fish, fear the idiot with the camera, maybe a finger less might have been a lesson!!

I have been diving with these guys a bit, unusual
