Jets only fly what....38000ft? The other plane is not cruising @ 8000ft. The clairty of the air does not affect the size of objects viewed from distance.

30000ft = 5.7 miles... 1 mile = 5280fthes a little over 35k ft below. when you are that high in the air you dont have to account for humidity and pollutants in the atmosphere to reduce visibility. Its not unusual to be able to see over 100 miles with decent detail on a clear day when you are at altitude.

Definitely safe distance, as long as you are not on the same plane you are fine, so you should either be looking up or looking down a considerable ways to see a plane that close to you. Definitely no t 7 miles and definitely not 100ft either hahaha

Louie212121 (August 28, 2008 at 5:11 am)
haha 7 miles... You think a plane looks that big from seven miles away? Or that camera can zoom in to that detail from 7 miles away? please
bishbashproductions (August 27, 2008 at 11:17 pm)

i have bin on one off the my travel airplanes cool vidio.
FailedSquare (August 26, 2008 at 9:53 pm)
you are about 7 miles apart... calm down. vector airways are like giant roads in the sky and can acomidate a huge number of planes.

I've only flown 2 times and that happened to me. |
