This solo is a combination of many riffs and melodies john has played over the years in his previous solos album, in particular the beginning reminds me of the solo he played on "face it live1997".. by the way he has an amazing vibrato,and such a strength in his left arm, that make him unique, even though he is not a super technical guitarist.
