even for as a filmmusic, it would be too boring. this group of "Minimalists" are people, would would like to live in the time of the romatic, and they write music without any progress in the pieces. some of the pieces are good as a filmmusic, fratres, for example, used in "there will be blood" (fantastic for a film like this), but music being alone needs variety.

in the movie GERRY with matt damon and casey affleckinstead of at the beginning they should of saved it near the end where he had to put affleck out of his misery and then sit there for what like seemed forever.

i heard this song on a short film in between movies on the movie network...the short film was about heaven being an office that people go to when they die, get their papers signed and off they go...but man was it good, and when i heard this...jeez, i've never heard anything so beautiful, and simplisic. |
