Because the other three did and I wasn't going to let them down! Yes they were quality acts, although Escala was just a copy of Bond basically, if you know who Bond are. Nemesis were sick :) I'm not whining :| wtf?

If you didn't want to appear on the show why did you take part? I don't suppose anyone forced you to. What about the acts that got to the final, were they quality acts? Escala, Faryl, Andrew Johnston, Nemesis et al? All of what you consider to be crap acts fell by the wayside. Hopefully some of the better ones will try again and maybe succeed as George and Faryl both did. Faryl didn't make the final rounds last year. She didn't winge though. She came back and made her point.

Of course we didn't get through, I hated every second and didn't want to do it - why would we have gotten through? And I'm more than suggesting that the acts that made it through to the live rounds were not quality acts - hello, remember the man who played the keyboard who got let through? There were hundreds of acts miles better than him. It's a bit of a piss take really, you just know it's been at least a bit set up.

So let me see. You say the show is not of a very high standard. You auditioned for it but weren't considered good enough to get past the second round. That suggests that your band isn't up to much. Are you suggesting that the acts that made it through to the final were not quality acts? I sense more than a hint of sour grapes in your comments.

i just dont think they (especially simon) would risk losing viewers!! Plus if the boy has such a great voice anyway, then why would he need to say he's bullied? I mean surely if he's that good he wouldnt need to sympathy vote! Why didn't they tell Farell to say that?

it's not really of high standard.. i'm in a band and we auditioned for it, i didn't even want to lol i hated every second, but we didn't get past the round in front of just the judges, the second round.. anyway my point being its really not as prestigious as it makes you think it is, so even the judges could be in on it.

I just don't believe that a tv show of such a high standard would tell a young boy to lie to their audience and their viewers, when it would cause such outrage. Also why would they tell him to lie to the judges? Simon cowell is not an idiot!! Look you have your opinion and I have mine!

i can't be completely sure, but it's been said in many places and you shouldn't be so dismissive of it when it's so plausible - you have to admit it's really cliché for a young boy to be good at that type of singing and to say he gets bullied for it, sympathy vote!
