Learn to spell, no one will take you seriously spelling like that.

I hope you're joking, those are on two completely oppisite sides for the type of engine that you need.

You can see lots of external similarities between the 787b and the 962

Rotarydrift:By that definition, the Cummins Diesels and Chrysler Hemi's and GM LS7 engines are German as well. The Germans could not make the Rotary work right. NSU the original patent holder (Wankel was financed and worked for them) went bankrupt doing warranty repairs on constantly failing engines.About the only thing any of the above mentions have to do with their German roots is the principle in how they work.

u bitch i know who the fuck made the engine. so what if it was made by the germans i dont think they like the fact somebody improved there engine. and thanks for commenting on me from 2 weeks ago. i recently been studying on cars the whole time and learned alot more. i do somewhat regret what i said about some stuff. but not to this
RotaryDrift (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Dude, you're an idiot. The Rotary engine was created by a german. Die germany? What are you talking about. I don't agree that they banned it neither, but It had nothing to do with "Euro's".
orimabu (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
thats not fair

Basically the engine is to hard to accurately classify in a world of piston engines. Some rule makers say it's triple Mazda's rating, which IMO is to big, others say it's Mazda's, and a small few say it's half way between based on the fact that in 1 crank/e-shaft revolution the rotor will suck up air and build compression in 2 sides of the rotor. It's easy just to ban it, or rule it out of competitiveness. |
