I agree.

It's not going by just the top side. Notice that when he first puts the cube on, it merely rotates the entire cube itself, looking at each side. Once it has all the sides scanned in by the camera, the computer can run the algorithms to solve it and the robot turns whatever panels need to be turned. It doesn't even bother checking color after the initial scanning of the sides.

i don't know. i don't think it's the camera, or really if it can even see the colors, cause the way it solves it, it looks like it's just reversing the mix up, because that's not how you would solve a TOTALLY mixed cube. my theory is that it was set up to move it in one way, and it was mixed up in that exact way so that it can be solved.

I can solve one faster

Hey man I'd love you to come demonstrate this robot for me and my class at the university of cambridge!except that instead of a university its my basement and instead of demonstrating the robot you'll be getting raped to death and tortured with a branding iron.I WUV YOUUU!
noobking21 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
the camera on the top is what solves it, it inputs the color format, then the pre coded scripts solve it. you haven't seen one without a camera that is real because its not possible for a robot to do something this complex without human input or color sensors.

That's really amazing. |
