The Azusa Street revival was amazing. I only wish I were alive then to experience it. Folks need to get back to that.

That chapter of Mark also says that you shall drink poison and handle serpents. Do YOU do those things? Acts 2 is the only place in Scripture in which speaking in tongues is described, and it does not describe the apostles babbling gibberish in supposedly "unknown" tongues. What you are engaging in is New Age mind alteration, not Christianity.

Quite the contrary. Acts 2:4-11, shows us that the tongues that were spoken by the Galilaeans were understood by those from other countries. I agree whole heartedly that the origin of the ":tongues" were/are from heaven, just "show(ing) [you] towards scripture from which [we] conclude they were languages that already existed."Hope it helpsIG

What version of the Bible do ya read? The satanic version? I read Acts many times. It says nothing about them barking like dogs. Do yourself a favor and get a different translation of scripture

Read the book Azusa Street "They Told Me Their Stories" Foreword by Billye Brim. It is a good way to hear their stories as well. :) Your friend and sister through Christ
