Actually the council of Nicaea sought to stifle the books of the bible. the new testament has a lot more books than what the council ordained as the authoritative God-inspired books. If you are at all interested research it from the ethiopian books, via the library of congress. the ethiopians are the most authoritative and "true" keepers of all jewish/christian works i.e. queen of sheba and the solomic line, keepers of the arc of the covenant.
