This production is a bad copy of the Alagna brothers' previous production!!This is such a shame for a big theatre like La Scala or Metropolitan, and a huge dissapointment for such a famous stage director like Zambello! Have a look at Roberto Alagna's DVD.

Well, that's good for sure but you know I'm French and they sing in a real strange language...! Domingo is a great artist but please buy the video with Alagna !!! Roberto is twice better than Placido in this part believe me !

I saw that in 1913, with Pasquale Amato on title role, THE MET made the world premiere of another Cyrano, composed by W. Damrosch-W. J. Henderson. Anyone knows a thing about this other opera?
