the italians left somalia to control themselves. somalia didnt do that why? because every tribe wants a president to come from their tribe, and what that caused it somali civil war. so many people writing comment below dnt thnk somalia will ever UNITE again unless a miracle happens. when somalians from different tribe try to negotiate over something BIG like presidential election thats impossible...... BECAUSE IMPOSSIBLE IS SOMETHING

Stop acting like you love Somalia all of a sudden each & everyone of y'all knows of a friend or a neighbor that have contributed to the factors that have caused Somalia to be a failed state. Every time you people watch a video about Somalia with some cool & soothing music as a background y'all develop out-of-no-where love for Somalia.

I'm 20 years old Somalian law student interested in Somalia and its history. Let's create a Somalian federal state, you cannot force people to unite, however I believe it is the best for everyone if the whole somalia create a federal state where the "Somalia land" "Puntland" and rest of Somalia will be under the same country but with co-existing power. Because get the fact that Somaliland will never be approved as a independent country by the rest of the world.

This is one of the few document for tha past History of Somalia, may allah pless them 4 every body who made contribution and kept it. this kind of work and this difficulty of time, i think it was very important job done. hope somalian will wake up again and forget their past bad events done by their ignorant Fathers, for their action inherited the young once division, distruction, lack of unity, lack of education and civil war, i think every of us see clearly how our country and people a like

Absolatly brilliant Document and historical event. "Somalia Waa tuma". this shows us How that generation was a like, and how it was lived for that hard and long journey through their lives. that wasthe true somalians, They had vision and mission and they were lived their country peaceful. united and working togher was their first prioraty. hope this generetion will bring change to the long and hardships wars needs to end and look for the needs for their people.
