This is great to see despite the drunken retarded chimps who are apparently operating the video equipment. The Fairport video that came out in 1987 had some interesting footage from the early days, but over the past 20 years alot more has surfaced. Time for a definitive video release!

you should come to Cropredy for Fairport's annual reunion shows. There are several pubs in this nice little thatched roof town and the vibe is still very nice after all of these years.

I think this gig was Dec 1970 so it must have been one of or even maybe the LAST gig Richard Thompson played with Fairport as an original member.

I agree. I live in Sweden now, where there are no pubs to speak of, but lived in England till I was 30. Always had a dream of a great (riverside?) pub where I could enjoy great beer, music and an atmosphere that ought to exist somewhere. Never found it, but I still dream of it. Someone pass me a tissue.
