I like Mao's music version and skating more...Her music is full of strength and so her skating... Her program has more artistry too...well shizuka is better in her own different ways... but Mao is the dominant Skater ever in Japan (including Midori)

well shizuka had skated to turandot before, at the 2005 worlds, so a lot of the material was used again. I have to say that i like turandot at worlds better than at the olympics.

I loved this freeskate, and was so dissipointed that she changed it before the olympics. This would have been a better way to win with this program. Funny how it is so diffrent from mao's. I love them both. Mao brings out the music's flow and gentle qualities, while Shizuka uses the drama and power.

I like this fantasia more than mao`s Lot more, but mao gives her touch too, anyway shizuka didnt do any triple triples, in that way she could win this

I noticed that some of her jumps were steady while others were slightly unsteady, but she seemed to go on without giving up to the best of her ability. However, I strongly disagree with the comment posted by one poster below me. I think she knew pretty little about Arakawa's strength and her weakness.
