ik hou van willeke alberti en dit is mijn inziens ook een prachtig liedje...maar bij de ESC is het toch altijd zo dat die die eigentlijk goed zingen altijd verlieren-.

I agree. I would like turn back to the years when professional juries were voting, because of the same reasons you said.You said, 1994 was the latest year that the Netherlands sang in dutch. I think that's not right: what about years 96, 97 and 98?Once more: I like this song. Waar is de zon?

This was the last time Holland entered a song in Dutch. We are just too small a country to play a part in voting. Back in the days of professional juries we had a chance on musical merit of songs. Where are the days of Abba en Celine Dion, when europe agreed on the winning number? Televoting and too many slavic countries voting for each other, turks voting en-masse in every country they live in, may make the organisers alot of money but kills the songfestival in the long run!

Zie je wel: alle engelstaligen hier vinden het nu nog een geweldig lied. Het is ook bijna het volkslied van alle homoos geworden, alleen het songfestival kreeg telefoonstemmen in plaats van deskundige landenjieries. Eerst waren toen de turken in het voordeel omdat die overal woonden en overal fanatiek meestemden toen kwamen alle slavische landen erbij: geen verstand van muziek, maar wel allemaal op mekaar stemmen.
