Do you think that Rick Wakeman has ever heard of Spinal Tap?
ColdBuffetKing (August 12, 2008 at 4:22 pm)

spekfoo, you want short songs? then Elton John would be right up your alley (pardon the expression)

amazing.

I certainly see what you mean. You're point is well made even in many cases of Wakeman, but I have to disagree. This live doesn't sound as good actually, but this is a good song. I agree with you in sense that I don't like Wakeman's attitude and even his onstage acting, but I actually do like that "pizza parlol piano" It's meant to be funny, in contrast to the mostly minior key composition. To tell us that everything is just a trick of a magician. I'd even compare it to intro of Firth of Fifth

OMG! That's crazy. Hahahhaha! Hope the relationship works out fine, and you will be able to meet one of the greatest musicians/keyboardists ever! Please keep us updated! =]-j.

god this is so irritating and boring.... This is why Klaus Schulze's music is so much better--- rick is a zillion times better player than anyone --- but this is just missing ANYTHING artistic---- It's like: " Oooooh like at me play this,, ooooo look at me play that,, look at me with 2 mini moogs making the same sound I make all the time" When that fuckin pizza parlor piano comes I just wanna kill myself for sitting through it.. Crap like this is why prog died. YES is why it lives again
