i think that you shoulder placement is a good point but the only way i think to take down a guy is to drive your feet. all i use my arms for is just wrapping up

true true. Im having problems getting my guys to hit properly. They look like they are dancing when we do oklahoma, and they've allowed 2 TDs on KO coverage.

No video. Just 23 years of experience playing and coaching defensive backs. "Tackling with your feet" sounds like a guy who is looking for a niche, a way to appear "cutting edge" or be "unique." There is nothing "cutting edge" or "unique" about tackling. It's the same skill as it was in 1950.

"Tackle with your FEET, not your arms."Pffft. Untrue. This guy is yappin' up a storm about footwork. Sorry, but that's hot air.The central, most important factor in proper tackling is shoulder placement (proper side of your body, using uppermost part of your chest/shoulder to make contact, and hitting your opponent in the proper spot...which is the bottom of his shoulder pads). Your feet? They get you there, but that's all.

lol you hit with your shoulders, wrap up their waste and drive with your legs. hit their stomach with your shoulder also you dont tackle them by hitting them with your chest haha
