hmm this song has been mocked mercilessly in the past (mainly just showing clips of the children singing) but the things the man is singing are quite clever and poignant.Or i'm just getting too old lol.

I saw an interview with clive dunn when he made this song and the record producer said "i think we've got a monster on our hands" and clive dunn replied "I tried my best"......... classic!
