not everyones life is rosy-some people need religion simply to get through the day whether god exists or not. marx thought religion was the opium of the masses and that a utopian society could relieve the need for religion. but religious needs goes deeper than materialistic needs in the individual. science can never bridge the explanatory gap. as a christian i still believe in the secularization of the state. religious dogma shouldnt be forced on anyone and neither should atheistic dogma

Are you kidding me? My neighborhood is entirely made up of 99.8% Theists and lived in a popular area where it was once ago environed by trees. Then, a church, private school was made after three years, clearing many vicinities of trees. With Church brainwashing, it's a mass destruction of indoctrination. Religious views is more dangerous than any explosion (While most wars are caused by religion) by destroying the progression of independent thought and thinking itself.
