Hard times? LOL it's always being hard times round here. It's a bit better now though. I mean until i was about 14 or something mum was on the dole just struggling like f8ck trying to support 3 kids on her own trying to keep a roof over our heads. I can remember going to school with only 2 crackers and when i got home there was no electric because we couldn't afford to put anything else in the meter. This credit crunch thing ain't sh8t. We're survivors in our S Yorks slums.

I heard that it is likely to be hardest-hitting in the UK due to the strong dependence on imports and a finance-heavy workforce. But Gord has done a lot to mitigate the effects and continues to do so. Darling too is optimistic and is sure we will 'weather the storm' well and that it will be short-lived. I don't mind a recession- loads of investment-opportunity, my job's safe, don't have a house lost in spiralling negative-equity. Bring it all on! :X

Great song which brings a smile in these hard times. An idea. Everyone in UK takes all the coins they've got in giant whisky bottles, piggy banks, and down the back of the settee, and gets it back in circulation. OK, it was a stupid idea, lol.
