I can remark on the small pattern that has emerged in your tone which suggests an unconscious need to....Anyway, your generalization of all religions as they pertain to our laws and government is enough for me to desist from this discussion. Separation of Church/State needs to be maintained, but as compared to its original intent, this idea has arrived at a condition of travesty. Be well and be happy, Punchpixie.

Nope, you implied that Biden "steered clear" of discussion of Islam after you failed to listen to what he said. He didn't "switch gears", he just didn't say what you wanted him to say. What he said was more historically accurate than what you are implying, and what he said covers a much larger span in history than your implications. Separation of church and state is the key point, not some snide crack about Islam. Hinduism, Buddhism, etc also have tenets that appear in our laws. So what?

Sir, you missed my point. He switched gears by ultimately referring to EUROPEAN religious wars. And I disagree that ALL religions make bad governments. Our government and all its laws, with all their imperfections, are based and founded on Jeudeo-Christian thought.

Hey 1stab, you mental midget, if you actually LISTENED to what Biden said, you'd note that the religious wars our founders referenced were fought in FRANCE, ENGLAND and GERMANY, and the religions were CATHOLIC and PROTESTANT. The separation of Church and State is the separation of ALL RELIGIONS from governance...for good reason, ALL RELIGIONS MAKE BAD GOVERNMENTS because they attempt to codify religious beliefs as legal doctrine enforced by all governmental means, up to and including violence.
