Huh ?? VNAV And LNAV are 2 different things, Lateral Navigation (LNAV) Controls the Horizontal Profile of the aircraft aka the routing to different waypoints, Verticle Navigation (VNAV) Controls the verticle profile of the aircraft aka the Speeds and altitudes which are inserted into the fmc.Vnav and Lnav (Airline Dependent) Are usally stored in routes in the airlines FMC database, Saves pilot time, Most airlines give the pilots the routings to insert manually.

Nope, Boeing offer there customers different options when they purchase an aircraft, Airtours dident want the GPWS Callouts.

Correct, Airtours was Tourjet, Then Mytravel was Kestral, Thomas Cook was Topjet but they now use kestral after taking over Mytravel.
pegasusfc (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

And the V NAV is presumed to be easier to setup than the L NAV. A lot less to take into consideration.

Correct, Tourjet Was Airtours Offical Callsign, Kestral Was a sub charter Callsign, Before Mytravel Took over Airtours.

I think i am not sure but i think 'Tourjet' was when Airtours was a company on its self. And Kestral was the callsign of Mytravel so i think that Mytraval had taken over Airtours |
