its not as good as the original but i can appreciate his art enough to see what hes trying to do. And CastletoKarma can't even spell springsteen right even though its in the video description, so i don't think they have much of a valid opinion.

I like both. I wish some of those who consider themselves Bruce 'know-it-alls' would listen-up or shut-up. Who cares if you know tonnes of useless crap about Bruce - he played what he wanted, some liked some didnt, but you dont have some kind of monoply over Springsteens music. I see your like every time I go to a Bruce concert...

I don't think that that's a desacration of the song...I think that it's brilliant how much Bruce can get new ideas for his old songs...

I really don't like this version either, to be honest. Has little to do with "understanding" Bruce or "knowing more" about him..I just think there's too much going on on stage..that and the performance just isn't all that tight. Can anyone tell me if they've found the cover version that The Band did a few years back? It was absolutely brilliant, but I cannot seem to find it on Youtube.

I've had to go & find & listen to a great live acoustic version of Atlantic City and a fab live version of Johnny 99 done in Paris to get this DRIVEL music out of my head. (I've the speakers turned DOWN typing this..) This embarking into country-roots-callitwhatyoulike-honky tonk was a wrong turning by Bruce. Quite a few will say this, I now far more about him than you do Jono11.
