let's get a few things right. the irish players arent really amateaur, they are just as skillfull, just as talented, if not more so than the australians. they just dont get played for playing gaelic football. that is the only difference between the two sports of gaelic football and aussie rules.I think the irish ppl should stop using the "amaeteur" excuse everytime they lose, or brag that they are amateurs and beat pros. Their skills are just as good as the aussies!!

So having a few ignorant people tell jokes is prefurrable to living in a savage wilderness as we did before settlement. They tell jokes about the Irish, Poms, Jews etc etc. There just that jokes taking it to heart is pathetic. I send my kids to private school to get them away from the bad influences, aboriginals included. The problem is a wealthfare culture, give people a hand up NOT a hand out and dont tell them they are or were mistreated that just gives them a reason give up & not to try.

and why do you get preferential university and other such benefits??because the australian government has to be seen to be fair towards aboriginies after all the failings of previous governments towards aboriginies.i know some aussies and their attitude towards aboriginies is disgusting..pure racist..some of the jokes they make are sickening.anyone with half an idea about australian history will know that aboriginal people haven't always been treated fairly..calling me a fool is just ignorant

Asylum seeker HA they had passed through at least 3 countries on the way to Australia at any one they could have applied in safety for asylum. The people you refer to are queue jumpers not asylum seekers and they chose to stay in those camps. Im part Aboriginal and I can tell you there are more of us now that prior to the arrival of white people. Racist behaviour? My children attend private school for free we get Govt allowances /loans and preferentual university.Your a FOOL.

unlike ireland??shows how much you know...five hundred thousand eastern european people have come to live and work in ireland in the last 5years..250000 british people live here...100000 americans and about 50000 from china and nigeria and then however many from australia and new zealand..all this out of a population of just over 4 million.if your going to try and argue with me at least have some facts
