hi, this might be called chinese ink brush, made of weary hair. harder than calligraphy one. the length of hair is about 3 cm.

Your paintings are beautiful and you make Sumi-e seem effortless, which it isn't. I am just learning this technique and would like to know what type brush you use as it seems large compared to the ones I have.

Lovely painting. I appreciate you showing us the little steps that take place with the ink stone. My only request is that it would be nice if in the next video the camera was a touch more stable, so that it doesn't shake or blur out of focus every now and then. |
