She was the first female star of Ethiopian music.when she came back from U.S.A after a treatment FOR loss of hearing in mid 70's the public went out in droves to celebrate her.There has't been such a show of affection for any musician before or since.SHE IS THE GODESS OF ETHIOPIAN MUSIC!
