hes now 10 months old. big now. we always go on running trips. hes always friendly with people petting him too. i also got a 9 month old girl. within 2 or 3 years there will probably be some pups running around.

thats surprising considering huskies make very poor watch dogs as they are very much people dogs, but thats great that your dog is good at barking at strangers!

They're beautiful dogs. Huskies and Malamutes look very much alike and when you throw in the term Alaskan you leave the door open for all sorts of breed combinations. In reference to husky-type dogs the term Alaskan means mixed with another breed to make a larger, stronger pooch. One of our Huskies, Odin, is a beautiful, snow white "Alaskan" Husky. He looks like a Siberian but he's just too big. He's about 85 lbs., which takes him way out of the standard. He looks more like an Arctic wolf |
