Nothing to do with qualifications, just a time thing. Perhaps you are ignorant of the time commitment it takes to play Division 1 football and the time commitment it takes to play piano at that level. The fact that he can do both is amazing.

For one thing, it requires a certain amount of time to play football at that level...and to play piano like that. I'll bet he takes a lot of time to tape up his fingers before each practice and game.
