are the strings baroque? they seem to overpower the original instruments in the wind and brass.

... we then had to perform the final concert in a massive church with a full orchestra without rehearsal. it went without a hitch I recall thanks mainly to our magnificent music master - probably long since departed - Jock Roberts.
