You obviously prefer mindless pop sensibility (Britney and Hard Candy) over true art (Erotica, American Life, Pre-Madonna). I'm sorry... but Madonna when she's unpolished and unapologetic, and not in the pop realm is just much better. And Britney can't do that because she can't leave the pop realm. Never has, never will.

1st... Hard Candy is the worst Madonna album in ages (that being said... I love Madonna)2nd... Madonna paved the way for Britney and Brit's just a really sad imitation3rd... Madonna might be pop royalty... but she's got her roots planted firmly in grunge and punk... and Britney is poptrash through and through. No comparison.
