Hey, the Lutherans caught a lucky break. Given the watered-down, politically incorrect joke the Lutheran sect has become, Bach of course would have no part of it today. Really, would anyone die for Lutheranism?

It's also funny considering that in the middle ages, the way the instruments were made and tuned, only 4ths and 5ths sounded good. That's partly why the monk is complaining about the violins and their 3rds and 6ths.
