and maybe if you read before you write. maybe you'll have read me saying that maldini and john terry are the best defenders of the past decades. Statistically maldini is better because he has won a lot more cups than terry and even though he has never played in england he is known even there. (I don't remember the nickname they call him it's like mald? or mauld? don't remember but terry isn't that known here, but i respect him as one of the best.

look i'm not your mate ok? And i think i understand more than you ok? I've played as a defender for around 20 years and i've even played at an international level so i don't need you to tell me the different roles of this game to me ok? it's like an amateur thinking he can teach something to a pro. Btw i wasn't talking about Cole i was talking about Maldini and Nesta. Oh and one more thing a center back is usually a full back. Again: I wasn't talking about full and semi, but left - right.

mate, i dont no how to tell you this, but a full back and a center back are not the same, as hard as you may find this to accept. Ashely Cole may be the best left back in the world while he was playing at chelsea or at arsenal but at no point in his life was he ever a better center back or defender than either kolo toure or john terry. for a man that has been watching football for 30 years there must of been a moment in you're life when you could differentiate from a left back and a center back?
