I like the photo of Garcia at his pedal steel. I think he sold one of his earlier model pedal-steels to Banana of the Youngbloods who used it on Sugar Babe and a some other numbers (too many levers on it!).

i lost my mind outside the Oakland Colisseum on new years eve back in the late 80s -- too much acid -- and we didn't have tickets to the show, traveled from AZ thinking we did, and the only thing that saved me from a breakdown were the opening chords of this tune booming over the FM radio cast and all the Heads blaring it through their speakers. |
