The uncut version actually makes the characters look human, as if they care about something that may actually be important to them. Such a shame that we can't be exposed to real people without being scarred for life.

i remember saying to myself while watching the 4kids version that the plot to Yugioh can't really be that rediculous!! my gut feeling was right! Yugi was just playing a game and searching for his lost memories not tring to save the world with some longass complicatedly (if that's a word,i well it is now lol) dramatic card game for children

This episode touched on the one thing that just drives me up the wall about the english version... when Yami thinks, you hear little Yugi's voice.And, I am absolutely in love with the original soundtrack of YuGiOh. It's a show about playing card games, and even in the Japanese version can get boring in some instances considering that a single card game can stretch 4 episodes. But, good background music always makes it so much better. |
