Farty why are all bismark fanatics ignorant are they born that way? USS Washington at Guadalcanal sank the jap BB Kirishima. USS West Virginia at Surigao hit the jap BB Yamishiro at night from 24,000 yard and hit it resulting in it sinking. bismark had the weakest broadside of any modern BB Guess thats why the germans called it commerce raider because it was not much of a battleship.

Bismark was an awesome ship and unlike american battleships that may have been bigger and more powerfull did actually fight in a proper battleship against battleship fight.

Rebuilt pear harbor BB USS west Virginia, North Carolina and South Dakota class BB was much better BB then bismark along with the KGV and Rodney

Italian Littorios were better class of axis BB then the bismark

actually the British 5.25 DP twin mount was a bit of a failure as an AA weapon

again at re1gamer.. prinz eugen was a cruiser not a BB if I recall.. and a fairly standard one.. Scharn was good but little match against another heavy vessel..Id say the US Iowa was the best.. then KG IV then Yamato..

er no.. Bismarck was powerfull.. strong enough to damage and sink most of the RN out of date warships.. and sunk HMS Hood.. basicly.. it was a big fast ship that could sink the older RN and US warships.. but in a battle with a KG IV class or another modern warship it would be more even.. also bare in mind POW was having difficulties with its weapons during the battle.. Iowa was out and out better.. id say its a good match for the other us ships.. but it would (if able to sink one) need repairs.
