I worst thing is that the world is full of Palins, every other office people I meet is a Palin. I wonder where they find them, who hires them? This world is such a weird place.

Sure, no problem. =) "Lifelines" are from the TV game show "who wants to be a millionaire," it was very popular in North America a few years ago. Contestants on the show were asked trivia questions, and they were allowed to use "lifelines" if they got stuck -- one of their options was to phone a friend to see if they knew the answer. That's what Sarah Palin (Tina Fey) is referring to.Hope that helps!!

she said "i want to use 1 of my life lines?"this is a reference to the american show, "who wants to be a millionaire" in which you have an option of calling a friend, who is standing by to help you answer 1 question. they are suggesting she is so dumb that she needs to call a friend for help.
